The 2025 International Symposium on Nature-based Interventions and Public Health was recently held at the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). Titled "Interdisciplinary Integration for Nature-Based Health Promotion", the symposium explored frontier topics such as the evidence-based design and efficacy evaluation of nature-based interventions.
More than 100 experts, scholars, faculty members, and students from over 30 universities and research institutions across 12 countries took part in the event.
The symposium was hosted by HIT, with guidance and support from the Professional Committee of Landscape Health and Horticultural Therapy of the Chinese Society of Landscape Architecture, the International People Plant Council (IPPC), the University of North Carolina’s Program on Chinese Cities (UNC PCC), and the Research Center for Polar Architecture of the Polar Academy at HIT.
