The 29th International Conference on Management Science and Engineering (ICMSE2025) was recently held at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), with renowned management experts and young scholars from 12 countries and regions participating in discussions on "Frontiers and Innovative Applications of Management Science in the Age of the Digital and Intelligent Transformation".

HIT vice-president Shuai Yong emphasized during the event's opening ceremony that HIT has always placed great value on international education and has been continually expanding its global collaboration network, with the ICMSE serving as a significant link for international exchanges in management science. He hoped this conference would gather global wisdom and contribute academic strength to addressing global economic management challenges.
Professor Doug Vogel from the School of Management at HIT served as the conference chair, with Dean of HIT's School of Management Wang Jian and Professor Guo Xitong as executive chairs, and professors Liu Yang and Zhang Xiaofei as program chairs. Zhang Xu, Party secretary of the School of Management at HIT, presided over the opening ceremony. HIT Professor Doug Vogel, Professor Hu Xiangpei from Dalian University of Technology, Professor Tang Jiafu from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Professor Zhang Xiaoning from Tongji University, and Professor Zhou Wenhui from South China University of Technology delivered keynote speeches on digital and intelligent transformation.

The conference also hosted 10 parallel sub-forums, focusing on "Reform and Innovation of Information Systems in the Era of Artificial Intelligence", "Intelligent Decision-Making and Operations Management", "Information Technology and Management", "Platform and Supply-Chain Management", and "Optimization and Management of Transportation and Logistics Systems".
Other subjects included "Artificial Intelligence and Applications", "User Behaviors in Information Systems in the Digital and Intelligent Era", "User Behaviors and Organizational Management in Digital Scenarios", "Digital Technology and Enterprise Management Innovation", and "Optimization of Operations and Management Systems".

The ICMSE2025 continued its focus on cutting-edge innovation, receiving 102 submissions. The content covered areas such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and digital innovation, providing a high-level academic exchange platform for researchers in management science, both domestically and internationally.
