A delegation led by Anuwat Jangwanitlert, executive vice president of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) in Thailand, recently visited Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT).
HIT Vice President Shuai Yong welcomed the delegation and introduced the university's latest developments, highlighting its progress and achievements in aerospace. He expressed hope that both universities could take advantage of this year's 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand to further enhance practical cooperation, including joint student training and the establishment of collaborative scientific research platforms. Such efforts, he noted, would deepen educational and technological exchanges between the two countries.
Anuwat Jangwanitlert emphasized that KMITL attaches great importance to its partnership with HIT. Over the years, the two universities have collaborated on student exchange programs and joint scientific research projects. He hoped that this visit would pave the way for deeper, higher-level cooperation in fields such as aerospace and engineering, and promote mutual visits, joint talent cultivation, and academic exchanges, advancing educational collaboration between Thailand and China.
During their visit, Anuwat Jangwanitlert and his delegation held discussions with representatives from HIT's School of Electronics and Information Engineering and visited the Space Environment Simulation Research Infrastructure.
Representatives of the International Cooperation Division (Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs), the Academy of Science and Industrial Technology, the College of International Education, and the School of Astronautics also attended the meeting.
