The men's aerials finals in freestyle skiing at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games were held at the Livigno Aerials and Moguls Park on the evening of Feb 20. All four Chinese athletes – Qi Guangpu, Wang Xindi, Li Tianma, and Sun Jiaxu – advanced to the finals.
Wang claimed the gold medal with a score of 132.60, giving the Chinese sports delegation its fourth gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Wang, born in 1995 in Qinhuangdao, Hebei province, is a male freestyle skiing aerials athlete representing China and a current doctoral student in mechanics at the School of Astronautics of the Harbin Institute of Technology. The Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games marked his third appearance representing China at the Winter Olympic Games. He has previously won the men's overall title in the aerials event of the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup, secured a silver medal at the World Championships, and was selected for the Asia-Pacific Young Leaders Initiative in 2025.
