The closing ceremony of the International Training Program on New Energy Technologies and Innovative Upgrading, hosted by the School of Energy Science and Engineering of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), was held in Room J312 of the Energy Saving Building on June 1.

Participants from multiple countries wrapped up the two-week training program and received their completion certificates.

Zhao Yijun, secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Energy Science and Engineering; Qi Hong, vice-dean; Associate Professor Li Lifeng, a faculty representative; and the training participants attended the ceremony. It was presided over by Associate Professor Wang Bo.

Zhao extended his heartfelt congratulations to everyone who participated. He noted that during the 15-day program, attendees systematically studied core courses such as solar energy, energy storage technologies, battery technologies, pumped storage, and green low-carbon solutions. They also visited the Daqing Solar Energy Base, as well as the HIT Space Museum and HIT Museum. Zhao said the participants not only deepened their understanding of China's new energy development but also acquired knowledge and skills that can be applied in their own countries.

Li, as the faculty representative, delivered a training summary, reviewing the course arrangements, teaching outcomes, and participant performance. She noted that the participants demonstrated active engagement, strong professional foundations and learning enthusiasm in classroom discussions, field visits, and cultural exchanges.

A representative of the group shared their learning experiences and insights in a speech, expressing gratitude to the School of Energy Science and Engineering at HIT for providing valuable learning opportunities and thoughtful arrangements.

Qi announced the completion of the course and, together with Zhao Yijun, presented certificates to outstanding participants.

The training course focused on the theme of new energy technologies and innovation upgrades, combining theoretical instruction, case studies, and field visits. It aimed to promote technical exchange and experience sharing in the field of new energy among countries.
