The 30th Cambridge Dragon Boat Festival took place in Cambridge, UK, on June 20. A 25-member delegation from Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) participated in the prestigious event and won the championship, outperforming 14 teams from across the region.
Beyond the thrilling on-water competitions, the HIT delegation set upan on-site cultural exhibition booth.
The team showcased HIT's outstanding scientific and technological excellence and rich traditional Chinese culture to thousands of spectators and distinguished guests. The delegation performed folk songs, dances, and traditional Chinese instrumental music, earning widespread acclaim from the audience at the festival's cultural gala.
As part of this overseas exchange trip, HIT delegates conducted in-depth academic visits and cooperative discussions at the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, and Imperial College London.
