Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Press and Springer Nature signed a strategic agreement on the international rights licensing of the Advanced Surface Engineering: Research and Applications series at the 32nd Beijing International Book Fair on June 17.
Guo Yiqiang, vice-chairman of the Publishers Association of China and president of the China Book Review Society; Professor Wang You, general editor of the series at HIT; and James Finlay, vice-president of Applied Sciences at Springer Nature, attended the signing ceremony and delivered remarks.

Under the agreement, the two parties will work together to bring China's leading research in advanced surface engineering to an international readership, helping to advance innovation and development in the global manufacturing sector.
