The annual AI and Robotics Entrepreneurs Gathering, themed "Reconnect • Empower • Move Forward Together", was held by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Institute of Advanced Technology on July 11.

Nearly 100 alumni entrepreneurs in the AI and robotics field from across the country, representatives from leading venture capital institutions, provincial and municipal government and enterprise officials, and HIT research experts came together to share experiences and exchange insights on innovation and entrepreneurship in the AI robotics sector. Liu Ting, vice-president of HIT, attended the event and delivered a speech.

Liu stated that HIT will continue to regularly build platforms for alumni networking in AI and robotics and strengthen the innovation chain, industrial chain, and capital chain. He expressed hope that alumni will make use of the university's AI and robotics resources to expand development opportunities, deepen industry-education integration, and drive collaborative innovation, jointly building a high-level, hard-tech industry ecosystem for AI and robotics.

During the keynote speech session, relevant officials from Harbin New Area and HIT's Advanced Technology Research Institute shared insights on the commercialization of research outcomes, industrial park support policies, and industry-university-research collaboration channels.

A total of 10 alumni, drawing on their own entrepreneurial experiences, shared industry trends, key challenges in technology implementation, financing pathways, and market expansion strategies across fields such as full-robot systems, AI algorithms, medical intelligent equipment, industrial investment, and digital technology.

During the event, participating guests conducted site visits to the Shenzhen-Harbin Industrial Park in Harbin New Area and the Advanced Technology Research Institute of HIT.
