The "LILACSAT-3" satellite, developed by the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) Lilac Student Micro-Satellite Team, was launched on July 22 from waters near Shanghai aboard the Gravity-1 Y4 carrier rocket. The satellite entered its predetermined orbit as planned, marking a complete success of the mission.
To date, the team has developed and launched four satellites, bringing HIT’s cumulative total of satellites developed and successfully launched to 46.
